TIG Welder / TIG Fabricator

In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for fabricating and welding ultra-high vacuum chambers and components that push the boundaries of precision engineering. Working closely with our Lead Technician, you'll ensure projects meet exacting standards and are completed within deadlines.,

• Fabrication and TIG welding of vacuum chambers, components, and sub-assemblies.
• Collaborate with the Lead Technician to align work schedules and project timelines.
• Conduct quality control evaluations to ensure all products meet our high standards.
• Set up and perform leak testing using helium mass spectrometers to verify the integrity of chamber vessels.
  
  At least 3 years of TIG welding and fabrication experience.
• Proven skills in metal fabrication, including the use of precision measuring tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Confidence in meeting deadlines and working in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of turning (advantageous).
• Strong commitment to maintaining and enhancing health and safety standards.
