Full Job Description

You will be working alongside another Administrator and the Business Manager to assist with administration of this busy community Tissue Viability Specialist Team. We are looking for a self-motivated professional with excellent organisation and communication skills, who will provide secretarial and business support to the Tissue Viability Team. You will be required to format documents, using Word, PowerPoint and Excel, update databases, minute taking for team meetings and perform a range of other general administration duties. Assisting clinician's workload, being a first point of contact for enquiries from patients, carers and other professionals, liaising with GPs, Integrated Care Teams, Link Nurses and external organisations. Support the clinicians with all aspects of RIO and any correspondence that is required to be produced. Assisting events, including venue, catering and delegate bookings. Support income generation by promoting training sessions, link nurse events and booking staff onto training courses. Supporting the Wound Formulary Group and promoting the use of Formulary products across Hampshire & IOW area. Procurement ordering. Working flexibly and although situated in one main base, there will be patterns of home/agile working and at times you may need to support the team in a variety of locations across SHFT, to perform any ad hoc duties. To be aware of working in a changing environment and be prepared to change working practices if required. Driving Licence essential.Main duties of the job

  • To receive referrals and book appointments for patients attending clinics.
  • To receive bookings & administrate both internal and external staff education sessions for staff using electronic & manual systems.
  • To answer enquiries from patients and stakeholders in relation to the administration of Tissue Viability Specialist Team.
  • Update records with accurate data to support effective management information and meet recording standards.
  • Ensure all diagnostic information required for patients' appointments is available to clinicians.
  • To plan and manage the administrative duties linked to our education schedule within the Tissue Viability Specialist Team.
  • To support all administrative duties linking to our tissue viability events.
  • To provide administration and general typing support to the Tissue Viability Specialist Team
  • Undertake general admin support including dealing with external companies and product providers.
  • Update literature and document creation based on the needs of the clinician.
  • Always provide a good customer service experience for all patients.
