Full Job Description

The post holder will work effectively as a team member, planning and prioritising workload to ensure deadlines are met, under the direction of the Tissue Viability Team. They should be flexible and keen to learn new processes within the team as they provide essential and effective administration support to the Tissue Viability Team. The post is varied on a day to day basis, supporting a progressive clinical team, so communication, enthusiasm and being able to work calmly and creatively under pressure is essential. The successful candidate should be flexible with excellent communication skills and hold an IT qualification. They should have experience and competence in the use of computer packages and software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Graphs. They should demonstrate good written skills and accuracy in written records with an eye for detail, with excellent grammar and punctuation skills., The Tissue Viability Administrator will provide administrative support to the Tissue Viability Team who provide clinical services throughout the Trust geographical area. The successful candidate should be able to work as part of a team to ensure agreed levels of support are maintained. They will manage telephone calls on a day to day basis from internal and external agencies, upload community referrals, book community visits for the team and participate in service development within tissue viability across the Trust. Minute taking at meetings, supporting the organisation of training and education, supporting event organisation and all essential elements of the role.
