+ Act as a specialist resource on all aspects of Tissue Viability to patients, carers and multi-professional team
+ Demonstrate in depth knowledge and skills in the specialist area
+ Possess and use advanced skills to provide direct patient care
+ Demonstrate autonomous specialist practice and advice in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care

The Tissue Viability Service will take an autonomous lead on the development and implementation of a strategic approach to Tissue Viability and wound prevention and management across the organisation.
The service delivers advice and support to patients (adults and children) and staff across acute and community services.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic registered nurse to join the Tissue Viability Service. The successful candidate will work alongside the team to embed and shape outstanding quality care.
This role will require you to assist and work independently within the TV Team. You will actively contribute to the prevention of avoidable pressure ulcers and contribute to the management of complex wounds. You will deliver training on all aspects of Tissue Viability to patients, carers and all internal staff groups, as well as other quality training as required.
You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be highly motivated and flexible in your approach to care delivery and committed to quality improvement.
Previous experience of working within Tissue Viability required.
