Full Job Description

Dorset Health Care's Tissue Viability Service are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to be apart of a forward-thinking Service. This role is pan-Dorset and will require travelling in your own vehicle visiting Patients in varying Healthcare Settings. The role is for 12 months fixed term or secondment for maternity leave cover.

This is a fixed term role and for those with current NHS service, the role will be offered on a secondment basis only. Please obtain permission to be released on a secondment before submitting an application.

Applications from candidates that require current Skilled worker sponsorship to work in the UK are unfortunately ineligible to apply for this position.

To provide effective evidence based comprehensive specialist Tissue Viability advice for Dorset Health Care.

To actively contribute to the prevention of Pressure Ulcers and management of complex wounds across Dorset Health Care and additional partner organisations.

To deliver training formally and informally on all aspects of Tissue Viability to all staff groups on topics as: pressure ulcer prevention and management, Tissue Viability, and Negative Pressure Wound Therapy.

To support the Tissue Viability services in delivering evidenced based care.

Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
