  • .fit_to_content { width: 100.0%; height: auto; } Primarily based in our customer facility in the Cheshire area, you will be responsible for the day-to-day support across our product and range and more, you will be fully involved in all aspects of tooling repair including but not limited to pneumatic and DC motor tooling types. Working alongside our internal departments you will be involved in bespoke project assemblies and/or customer rework requests as well as preventative maintenance and calibration schedules.Your role: To support the promotion of Desoutter solutions, services, and products by working with local ASM's and customers to solve application and product problems.To provide product or technical training to customers as and when required. To understand the competition, their products, and their market presence.Undertake the requirement for corrective or preventative maintenance of Desoutter equipment.To succeed, you will need: ONC/HNC qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.Experienced candidates with other Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualifications will be considered.Mechanical/Electrical or Software background, technical and hands on.Ability to problem solve tooling (preferably drilling units).Understanding of Aerospace industry sectors (especially drilling) is a big advantage.Strong communication skills. Able to make customer presentations.Self-motivation with the ability to work alone.Ability to work to tight schedules, prioritise workload and meet specific deadlines.Computer literate.Enthusiastic approach to products, salesmen and customer.Have an understanding and an ability to use technical/professional knowledge and Information.Ability to promote, develop and maintain a culture conducive to quality throughout the organisation and to improve its performance.Ability to utilise appropriate interpersonal styles and methods during group interactions.Ability to communicate with all levels, internally and externally in a confident manner.Effectively promote the Desoutter company image.Attend training to develop relevant knowledge and skills.A full UK driving license is required for this position. Must be prepared to work weekends at short notice as and when required.Location: Cheshire. You will work in Bentley Motors Crewe & Desoutter Congleton offices.
