Full Job Description
We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Tooling Maintenance Coordinator to join our Stores team. You will be responsible for recording, categorising and maintaining aircraft tooling in such a way that
- Tooling meets health & safety as well as aircraft safety regulations.
- Tooling availability to the business is maximised.
- Tooling is managed in an efficient and accurate way. This role is based at our head office at Norwich Airport and is 37.5 hours a week worked Monday - Friday. Due to the nature of the environment and the need to interact with aircraft mechanics working onsite, the role is primarily site based.,
- Develop and expand a Master Tooling list of all company tooling using SharePoint.
- Obtain Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) manuals and upload them into Q- Pulse (our Quality Management Software).
- Update the tooling catalogue as required ensuring the correct photographs and information is present.
- Implement a servicing, inspection, and maintenance program, liaising with third party providers as necessary.
- Ensure availability of all tooling as required by our aircraft engineers by minimising repairs and reducing inspection and maintenance timeframes.
- Source cost effective solutions.
- Ensure all company documentation and systems are up to date.
- Asset management
Have experience of working in a warehouse or tooling function - Be proficient in Microsoft suite.
- Be comfortable learning new software skills.
- Enjoy working in a technical environment or be looking forward to learning the language, systems, and processes.
- Have a systematic and highly organised approach to work.
- Have experience of interacting with suppliers
- Have experience of delivering results whilst working on their own initiative.
- Be flexible in dealing with workload demands.
- Plan, organise and prioritise tasks.
- Make adjustments to original plans when circumstances change.
- Be a team player with great communication skills.
- Have an eye for processes and detail.
- Have excellent communication skills. It would be advantageous for the successful candidate to have
- Experience of a working in with aircraft tooling and/or in a highly regulated environment
