We're seeking a multifaceted Trade Channel Marketing Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract; with a solid background in the trade retail environments such as DIY, electrical, paint, plumbing, or building materials. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with key customer partners to drive growth within the independent distribution channel, for Crown Paints. This position is perfect for someone who is passionate about using their marketing, and commercial expertise, to make a tangible impact on our business. - Develop and implement innovative marketing strategies tailored to independent retail and trade environments, optimising for market trends and customer needs
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including commercial and procurement, to align marketing activities with broader business objectives
- Analyse sales data and market trends to inform and develop targeted marketing initiatives aimed at boosting brand presence and driving growth of product ranges
- Run and coordinate the execution of marketing programs, ensuring they deliver on time, within budget, and with high impact
- Facilitate strong, positive relationships with a diverse network of partners, via our independent distribution and export channel including supporting and implementing joint marketing activities and campaigns
- Proactively engage in customer interactions to gather insights, strengthen relationships, and drive customer-centric initiatives
- Develop and implement engaging in store POS and online digital advertising for customers to drive campaigns, products, and ranges to help drive customer footfall
- Plan and implement industry and customer events to engage with trades people and retail consumers and drive engagement with our products and brands., We recognize that our journey must be persistent. Solid experience in trade marketing within sectors such as DIY, electrical, paint, plumbing, building materials, automotive parts etc. - Strong ability to perform and interpret data analysis, with experience in financial modelling and assessing marketing payback periods
- Demonstrated success in crafting and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies, with a focus on customer engagement and commercial growth
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining effective partnerships and comfortably being the face of the brand to customers
- High degree of autonomy with a track record of innovative and creative problem-solving in marketing
- Experience handling budgets and resources to increase the efficiency of marketing activities
- Strategic problem solver with excellent organisational and project management skills, able to juggle multiple priorities seamlessly.
