Full Job Description
As a Trade Support Associate in the EMEA Trade Support team, you will be responsible for managing all Discretionary and Non-Custody client sales across over 38 international equity and fixed income markets to ensure they are sufficient for settlement on the value date. You will regularly interact with global trading desks on high-fee assets and those approaching dividends. Additionally, you will be responsible for the daily monitoring and management of compliance breach reports, engaging with business partners to ensure any breaches of pre-agreed limits are resolved the same day. You will also manage the return of on-loan assets for client exits and restructures, monitor client restrictions, and collaborate closely with all teams throughout the lending department to provide an excellent standard of service for all clients.,
- Actively reviews client holdings, reallocates and recalls for client sales to ensure sufficiency on value date
- Works closely with the Global trading desks to reduce client risk
- Checks upcoming dividend events on high-risk markets to minimise client risk
- Assists Traders to help maintain trading strategies
- Monitors compliance reports to prevent client limit breaches
- Prepares and issues recall notifications to brokers
- Reviews pre-sale notifications
- Provides daily updates on failing client sales
- Manages client transitions and provides regular updates to the Relationship Managers
- Escalates with Brokers, Traders & Client Relationship Managers where required, to settle failing recalls and sale buy-in threats
- Challenges processes to streamline and automate where possible within agreed controlled manner, ensuring they are documented and updated in standard operation procedures, maintaining that any changes do not introduce risk and is always compliant

- Understand the key elements of other infrastructure groups (i.e. Global Trade Support & Trading Desks, Collateral, Corporate Actions, Transitions, New Business, Market risks, Operational risk, Legal, Audit and Compliance, etc.) and recognize the impact of the actions of the Trade support team on these areas
- Computer literate with sound working knowledge of all Microsoft Office programmes
