Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a Traffic Management Operative to join our Living Places business unit to be based at our Pode Hole, Horncastle, Sturton by Stowe, or Sleaford highways depots.

What you'll be doing

As a Traffic Management Operative your main duties will mostly be on the highway network working alongside a lead Traffic Management Operative assisting with the installation of traffic management inclusive of Diversion Routes.

In this varied role you will be required to work flexibly as part of a team, conducting maintenance and construction work across the Lincolnshire Highways maintenance contract, responsible for ensuring our clients roads, footways, road gullies, pedestrian areas and cycle paths are in good repair.

You will have the following qualities and experience:

Previous experience in Highway Maintenance

NHSS12D M1/M2/M5

NRSWA Qualification

CPC (if a licence holder of 7.5T and above)

CSCS

Able to demonstrate a genuine interest in practical outdoor work.

Willing to work flexible hours, evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays, and work outside in all conditions

We would like you to have:

NVQ 6159 Winter Maintenance

LGV Category C (HGV) driving license
