Trainee Accountant

Responsible for applying accounting principles and procedures to analyse financial information, prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures.

Working as an integral part of a small finance team

The role requires someone with excellent IT skills.A good communicator and team player. Is happy with the routine tasks as well as ad hoc work looking for a career in finance and willing to learn.

Processing of accounts payable invoices

Processing of employee expense claims.

Cash posting.

Posting of journals.

Month end intercompany balance agreements.

Timesheets.

Credit control to include review of customer credit ratings

Key support for annual stock take

Various other reporting and analysis as required

Provide support to the team and assist with ad-hoc accounting duties as required
