Trainee Accountant (or equivalent)

We are currently looking to recruit a Trainee Accountant (or equivalent) to work 37.5 hours per week based at our Head Office in Bolton within the Management Accounts team. This is a permanent position. Monday to Friday 9,00am to 5,30pm with 1 hour unpaid lunch each day.

Some Experience would be preferred but not essential. Ideally you will have a numeric background and want to further study AAT.

In this position you will be responsible for undertaking a variety of accounts duties.

Key tasks:

-Scanning/OCR'ing invoices/Statements.

-Posting of invoices/cash.

-Bank Reconciliations.

-Production of journals to post.

-To support the management accounts department with the tasks involved in the production of monthly management accounts/annual audit files.

-Liaising with our Pharmacies via phone & email to chase outstanding claims.

-Produce Monthly reports.

·Part Qualified in AAT qualification or a strong interest in starting AAT.

·A minimum of 5 GCSE's including maths

·Great Interpersonal Skills

·Attention to detail

·Ability to work under pressure

·Ability to multi-task

·Must have strong Microsoft Excel skills

·Open minded to any tasks as responsibly asked of you
