Are you looking for a new challenge? Are you a senior critical care/ emergency department nurse/AHP with extensive Band 6 experience looking to embark on an advanced practice journey? The Critical Care Outreach Advanced Clinical Practice Team (CCOT ACP) are recruiting.

We are looking for highly motivated, dynamic and innovative members to join our existing team and we welcome applicants from nursing and AHP backgrounds.

The UHS CCOT service was established in 2001 and is a 24/7 acute care referral service covering approximately 1200 adult beds across a large tertiary centre working collaboratively with the ward teams across all specialist areas within Southampton General Hospital & Princess Anne Hospital. CCOT ACPs provide high quality advanced level care and management of acutely/critically ill adult patients, adult patients who are at risk of deterioration or other immediate life-threatening events.

You will be joining a highly skilled team working closely with the General Intensive Care Unit and other acute care teams/services across UHS. The CCOT ACP role is cutting edge within the remit of Critical Care Outreach services crossing multi-professional boundaries.

As one of the largest acute teaching Trusts in England, we offer learning and development opportunities to help you achieve the career you aspire to.

All non-clinical roles may involve a mixture of on site and remote working, Specific details and flexible working options can be discussed as part of the interview process. UHS employees are able to access a range of NHS discounts, are entitled to a minimum of 35 days paid holiday (pro rata), and we offer a generous pension scheme.

Southampton is an attractive place to live and work situated on the south coast, with an international airport and direct trains to London. The New Forest National Park and beaches of the Jurassic coast are also right on our doorstep. The city offers living costs 20% lower than London and 14 schools rated outstanding by Ofsted.

Due to the nature of this role and service, this role is on-site and the hours are as advertised.

Please talk to us at interview about the flexibility you need, and we will explore what's possible for the role and service.
