Trainee Communications Technician

We are looking for a Trainee Communication Technician to assist in creating and delivering training sessions that inform and enhance the professional abilities of our employees. The Communication Technician will be responsible for the effective delivery of building products, testing products, configuration of network systems .

He or she will also help create and manage new communication systems, from designing and delivering internal presentations to creating training courses, as well as troubleshooting existing communication systems.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation and maintenance of communication systems that include network switches, radios, gateways, power supplies.


• Install, upgrade, and repair computer hardware, operating systems, and peripheral devices.


• Analyse system files and make sure that they are error-free.


• Work with staff from other departments to help with communication issues.


• Build, test, install, and configure computer hardware and peripheral equipment to meet the needs of specific departments.


• Follow instructions and respond to requests in a timely manner.


• Communicate software procedures for network security and system administration.


The position would suit someone that is confident and takes pride in their work.

Our work is nationwide so from time to time overnight stays will be required and some additional hours.
