Trainee Green Estate Supervisor

A fantastic opportunity for a Trainee Green Estate Supervisor to join our flagship TfL HMF contract. This role will involve supervising all aspects of Green Estate delivery including cyclical and reactive arboriculture and horticultural maintenance. This is a permanent, full-time position based from our Beddington Lane depot in Croydon, South London.

The duties of the Trainee Green Estate Supervisor role will include:

-Supervising the cyclical activities such as grass cutting, hedge cutting, weed control, shrub and planted area maintenance, annual tree & shrub surveys, tree planting as well as any arb/hort reactive works

-Ensuring that the Core Services Manager, Planner and client are kept up to date and informed of all matters relating to the delivery of the contract

-Supporting clients and internal departments from the pre-planning and pre-programming of works through to their completion

-Assisting in the application and management of the permitting process on TfL/Borough roads and liaising with stakeholders

-Overseeing the programme management of the green estate core service works

-Supervising various sub-contractors carrying out work on behalf of FM Conway, providing task instructions, monitoring performance and reconciling accounts

We are looking for a Trainee Green Estate Supervisor with strong communication skills and a passion for horticulture and arboriculture. You will hold a full UK driving license and ideally hold a degree in Construction Management or have industry based experience.
