Trainee Hoist Installer

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Trainee Hoist Installer to join our external operations team, your primary role will be installing, dismantling and maintaining our hire fleet of rack and pinion construction hoists.

• Have a demonstrated background in the construction/industrial industry
• Have proven ability to safely work at height
• Clear communication & and reporting skills
• Role requires unsociable hours as the business requires
• Must be flexible to work away from home occasionally, as the business requires
• Able to work as part of a team
• Preferably had health & safety training or undertaken CSCS safety training course
• Hold a valid clean driving license
The following skills are advantageous but not essential at this stage -
• Harness / Working at Height
• Training Skills, Training or Experience in a similar line of work
• Manual Handling Training
Ideally, you will have previous experience of working with hoists or other lifting equipment and understand the challenges that come with working at height. We are also happy to hear from those who have a strong engineering background with a proven background in Plant Maintenance.
