Trainee Machine Setter

The business are an established and successful precision engineering company - manufacturer of small components and pressings.
They are seeking to recruit Machine Setter for their operations
Reporting to the Works Manager - the main purpose of the role is to set and operate special purpose machinery within the business.
Key responsibilities and duties would be;
+ Setting and operation of machinery to acheive production targets
+ Carry out first off, last off quality checks
+ Ensure machine is running to optimal level
+ Resolve any issues or problems with the machines or escalate any issues that are unable to be rectified
+ Care and maintenance of machinery and tooling
I would be keen to receive your application if you hold the following skills or experience;
+ Mechanically minded and some Engineering prowess
+ An interest in engineering principles
+ Computer literate
+ A "can do" attitude and punctual
+ Willness to learn as training will be provided

The role offers the opportunity to progress and develop further throughout the business.
The role is Days Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.30pm and Friday 8am to 3pm
Pay rate - 13.50 per hour
