Trainee Night Shift Bread Baker

The GBM Bakery is looking for a trainee bread Baker to assist our team of bakers to make and bake a wide range of breads, Buns and Pastries during the night so they are ready for early morning deliveries. We can accommodate applicants looks for 1 to 5 nights a week as long as they're flexible, so this must include availability at weekends and weekday nights,

• Work in the kitchen area preparing ingredients


• Use an oven timer to ensure proper cooking times


• Ensure that all products are stored properly


• Maintain a clean and orderly work area


• Comply with health and safety regulations


• Handle kitchen utensils and equipment such as knives, cutting boards and pans.


• Clean dishes, work areas and kitchen equipment.


• Store cleaning supplies in the appropriate areas.


• Cleaning duties will include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, dusting, etc.
  
  Proven experience as a Baker or similar position working in a bakery (not required)


• Knowledge of all food production procedures and recipes (we will provide you with all recipes)


• Familiarity with sanitation regulations and safety practices.


• Excellent time-management skills & Ability to multi-task.


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong work ethic.
