Our Patent Career Programme offers you the chance to be involved in innovative, exciting inventions outside of the Lab, whilst studying towards your exams to become a qualified UK and European patent attorney., We are recruiting for places on our Tech training programme to start in October 2025 - where we will support, mentor and develop you into a world class patent attorney working on some of the most exciting new products and ideas from across the globe. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to start your career within our our Tech team which is comprised of over 60 individuals and we advise some very high-profile global clients across all fields of technology. Our team is led by dedicated, market-leading experts who can offer you unparalleled training, quality of work, direct exposure to client matters, business development initiatives and the support to ensure you are developing in your career.

Whether you are a new graduate or are looking for an exciting career change, we are looking for candidates with a solid scientific background, a strong academic record and a graduate or postgraduate degree in:

  • Computer Science - ideally with some experience in AI.

  • Electrical/Electronic Engineering - ideally with some experience of computing/software.

  • Physics/Medical Physics - ideally, you would have some knowledge of computing/software, though this is not essential.


  • We welcome applications from candidates who are on track to, or have achieved a minimum of a 2:1 at undergraduate level. Candidates with a postgraduate degree and a 2:2 in their undergraduate degree will also be considered.
