Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Trainee/ Trained plaster technician to join our existing plaster technician. Your base will be North Tyneside General Hospital but will be expected to work trust wide. Successful candidates will start in a band 4 trainee post, with progression to a band 5 on successful completion of the British Orthopaedic Association casting certificate., The trainee plaster technician will actively work along side other practitioners in the orthopaedic team. To provide high quality, efficient and effective care within trauma and orthopaedics.

To apply for this post you must have a minimum of 12 months experience of working as a plaster technician assistant, carry a valid driving license and have access to a car for multi site working. This is a seven day service as a result there is an expectation to work the weekends.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, team player and committed to deliver a high standard of care.
