Full Job Description

This is a training role within East Sussex NHS Talking Therapies for Anxiety and Depression (previously known as Improving Access to Psychological Therapies Programme (IAPT).

The post-holder will work within the service providing high volume low intensity interventions whilst undertaking a programme of training for this role.The training post will equip the post holder to provide a range of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) based self- management interventions to clients with mild to moderate anxiety and depression.The post- holder will attend all taught and self-study days required by the education provider, as specified within the National Low Intensity curriculum, and work in the service for the remaining days of the week using their newly developed skills.The post holder should be committed to equal opportunities. The Brighton and Hove Wellbeing Service has the opportunity to recruit 2 x Band 4 trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWP). The training is delivered by Exeter University and has a March 2025 start date.
