Full Job Description

Turners (Soham) Ltd is looking to recruit a Trainee Traffic Operator, working in our Container Division based in Leeds. The main function of the role;

  • Planning collections and deliveries
  • Scheduling the fleet ensuring drivers are allocated to vehicles and loads
  • Ensuring drivers are on track with their deliveries and collections
  • Dealing with any problems drivers may have while out on the road, liaising with the end customer if and when necessary.
    • The role will also involve some administration support with tasks such as order entry, data input and wages admin support. The position is full time, working 40-hrs per week Monday to Friday.

    The successful candidate will need good verbal and written communication and be computer literate.
