Trainee Transport Operator

Turners (Soham) Ltd is looking to recruit a Trainee Transport Operator, working at our New GSF Car Parts contract in Four Ashes. The main function of the role;

• Processing Customer Orders.
• Making sure the fleet of night drivers arrive on time and/or be able to react if they don't show for any reason.
• Ensuring drivers are on track with their deliveries and collections using various systems available to us (Full training will be given).
• Dealing with any problems drivers may have while out on the road, liaising with the end customer if and when necessary.
• Hand over the shift to the night manager.
The role will also involve some administration support with tasks such as order entry, data input and wages admin support. The position is full time, working 40-hrs per week Monday to Friday. This will predominantly be an afternoon/evening shift 11:15am -8:15pm

The successful candidate will need good verbal and written communication and must be computer literate.
