As a Trainee Water Technician, you will work alongside Experienced Technicians to develop your knowledge and understanding of the water industry and leakage detection. Your Responsibilities: In this role, you will work outdoors to locate water main fittings and take noise samples using advanced electronic leak detection equipment, for which full training will be provided. Your day-to-day responsibilities will also include learning and developing your skill set within the water industry, deploying and retrieving data loggers, optimizing and operating the water network, and interpreting plans and schematics to identify asset locations. This is a hands-on opportunity to build your expertise while contributing to the efficient operation of the water network.

  • Mechanical and or plumbing experience is preferable
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • A willingness to learn and develop your career and professional knowledge
  • Qualifications:
  • GCSE requirement in Maths and English 9-4 (A- C)
  • UK Driving Licence
