Full Job Description

As a Training Administrator, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll be working as part of a discipline team inputting into the defence capability of the UK.

Day-to-day, you'll provide administration services to the Training School and supporting several sites throughout the UK. Working alongside Trainers and other areas of the business.

  • Liaise with the Ministry of Defence for the administration of all the Training services provided by Team Aurora.

  • Facilitate the handling of Internal and external Training courses for Team Aurora.

  • Provide clerical support for the Training School.

  • Populate the Training Data Bases with results and updates to records.

  • Maintain/Update in house training system.

  • Maintain the Training Facility Registry by controlling files in accordance with General Data Protection Regulation rules.


  • This role is part time, 30 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 1 day per month in the office/onsite. However, you will be required to work longer periods if the project demands.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint etc) suite, Teams and Visio and other office productivity tools.

  • Experience of general office management, with excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work.

  • Maintaining confidential information in line with General Data Protection Regulation rules.

  • Working across multiple agencies and projects and multiple ways of working.

  • Strong stakeholder management across multiple levels.


  • Qualifications for the Training Administrator
  • NVQ level 2 in Business Administration or suitable alternative.

  • GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/equivalent or suitable alternative.


  • Security Clearance
    The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
