Full Job Description

As a training and adoption support officer you will be responsible for ensuring that our staff are prepared to use new digital systems that are introduced through the Digital Patient Pathway Management (DPPM) Programme. The role will include both designing and delivering training in a variety of formats to cater to a range of our staff. The training we offer to our staff will require the post holder to be flexible in where they work across our sites. Our training adoption support officer will not only offer functional training but be able to articulate to staff the benefits of using the system. We are therefore we are seeking individuals with both strong training experience and those who have experience in engaging staff groups and responding to challenges in digital system use. As a programme team we encourage innovation and new ways of thinking, there will be opportunities for the post holder to be creative and implement new ideas within the role.,

  • Delivering the training curriculum for digital solutions required for Digital Patient Pathway Management to individuals and groups of staff from basic to advanced level, across the Trust.
  • Design and delivery of user training for Trust digital solutions, including Trust CCS, Cerner, OPTICA, etc.
  • Design, develop and maintain training materials for the digital solutions used in the Trust
  • Ensure that the digital solutions are well implemented and adopted across the Trust, with escalation to the Training and Adoption Lead as required
  • Promote the use of ICT throughout the Trust, working with staff to maximise their effectiveness and learning opportunities.
  • Support ICT Project Team and Digital Patient Pathway Management team to implement training program for any of new digital solutions
  • Evaluate trainee performance and take appropriate action in accordance with system policies and procedures based on results.
  • Contribute to improving service quality.
  • Contribute to the development of computer based training.
  • Support the Training and Adoption Lead by producing detailed accurate reports on training related issues.
  • Support the ICT helpdesk with application software in-depth specific knowledge.
