Training Area Operative

Landmarc Support Services are currently seeking to recruit a Training Area Operative to join our dedicated team. In this role you will play a key part in helping to maintain a safe, efficient and sustainable place for our Armed Forces to train. We are looking for someone enthusiastic about working in an outdoor environment, dedicated to supporting the Military. Main Responsibilities Raising and lowering of flags, carrying out range clearance Preventative and reactive maintenance on ranges and training area Grounds maintenance including grass cutting on ranges and training area General maintenance works across the training estate Manufacturing of wooden targets Checking and testing electronic targets prior to issue Driving and operating fleet vehicles, 4x4, ATV, Tractor, mower etc. To ensure that the Training Estate Facilities conform to safe systems of work Liaise with stakeholders Use both IT and paper based systems to complete any relevant documentation

Knowledge of Landscape Maintenance Excellent communication skills Basic IT skills with ability to use a tablet Ability to work effectively in a diverse, fast-paced team environment Good understanding of Health & Safety protocols A valid Manual UK driving licence is essential to carry out the duties of this role
