Full Job Description

The role of the Training and Development Coordinator / Administrator is essential to the smooth running of the training programmes, providing comprehensive administrative and event support. The Training and Development Coordinator / Administrator works closely with the Head of Training and Training Advisors to ensure the successful delivery of development initiatives across the organisation.,

  • Event Coordination: Arrange logistics for training events, including booking rooms, organising refreshments, preparing materials, and setting up event spaces. Ensure facilitators are fully supported on the day of delivery.
  • Administrative Support: Act as the first point of contact for daily queries, manage training bookings, and confirm attendance. You'll also maintain and update the training calendar, ensuring events and deadlines are accurately tracked.
  • Internal Communications: Draft and promote internal marketing materials for training programmes, such as news articles, blogs, posters, and web content. Work with the team to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
  • Database & Reporting: Use systems like SharePoint to update training webpages and keep track of attendance and evaluation data. Provide regular reports on training activities and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • General Support: Monitor workload across the team, flagging potential bottlenecks, and offering solutions where needed. Assist in the planning and execution of key events

    We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Training and Development Coordinator / Administrator., Essential Qualifications: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
  • Experience: Strong administrative skills and experience with MS Office. Previous experience in an event or training support role is an advantage.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to produce clear, concise documents and marketing materials for different audiences.
  • Organisation: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritise tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • IT Skills: Confident using IT systems including SharePoint, MS Office, and data management tools.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong team player with the ability to communicate well with colleagues at all levels., A proactive attitude, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
