Full Job Description

We are looking for an experienced band 5 or 6 nurse ideally with community nursing experience to join our team as a Community Training and Development Educator- for Community Services. You will be working alongside the Training and Development Educator Lead supporting her and the senior nursing team to provide evidence based professional practice and clinical skills to our nursing and therapy workforce. You will support the Educator Lead with the development and updating of clinical competencies, frameworks and support education and training to enable and support the development of evolving job roles within the community as we develop our Integrated Neighbourhood team model., "Our STAR values - Service, Teamwork, Ambition and Respect - are a golden thread running through everything we do. The post-holder will be an experienced, knowledgeable practitioner who provides clinically based practice development and education to the non-medical workforce. They will role model best practice and support in the adherence to evidence-based professional practice to ensure our clinicians deliver safe, high-quality care out in the community in patients own homes. The training and development educator is key to ensuring training is grounded in good practice which is underpinned by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) code of conduct and will be a key component in the educational element of clinical governance and quality assurance.

This service will be transitioning to HCRG Care Group from the 1st April 2025. The successful candidate may transfer over (under Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006) on the terms and conditions they are employed on.
