Full Job Description
The Facilities Training Service have an exciting opportunity to welcome a Training Facilitator to join their dedicated and highly motivated team. The Facilities Teams play a vital role in supporting the smooth functioning of the hospital sites and ensuring a positive experience for staff, patients, and visitors alike. This role will directly contribute to the development and growth of employees within the Division of Infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for training and be dedicated to achieving the highest of standards of training excellence., Working closely with the Facilities Training Manager you will be responsible for:-
- Onboarding New Starters: Responsible for welcoming and integrating new employees into the team. This includes conducting first-day inductions, covering essential information about the organisation, policies, and procedures.
- Delivering Functional and Mandatory Training: Providing specialised training for specific roles within the Facilities department, such as housekeepers, domestics, porters, and catering assistants. This training will cover the necessary skills and knowledge required for each role. Previous knowledge of these roles is not essential, however it would be advantageous.
- Working closely with the Facilities Training Manager to ensure the effective delivery of all training programs.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. - Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, and travel between multiple sites.
- Valid UK driving license.
- Understanding of NHS training standards (advantageous).
- A background in healthcare or a related field, while not essential, could be beneficial, If you are a highly motivated and experienced training professional with a passion for delivering exceptional training programs, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
