Full Job Description
Are you passionate about people development and ready to lead the way in digitalising training? We're looking for an enthusiastic Training Officer to join our team at our Market Drayton site. You will be responsible for maintaining training records across the factory and ensuring robust governance and compliance is in place so that we meet business and customer requirements. - Deliver site inductions for all new starters including face to face and online elements
- Maintain electronic training records for all employees at the site
- Build and maintain electronic learning system for the site including uploading SOPS, creating curriculum, assigning learning and creating reports
- Liaises with on-site training coordinators and managers to ensure that training is actively delivered on time and tracked.
- Supporting with any Training admin duties
- Actively drives completion of training to ensure audit compliance
- Working in partnership with subject matter experts to ensure good quality training materials, fully document controlled. Ensure content is regularly reviewed and full traceability of completion data.
- Ensures refresher training schedule and reporting is built into the LMS and meets the needs of the site
- Work with the site to ensure that managers own training compliance for own team members by ensuring they are fully trained in how to use the LMS and can access training reports.
- Know Health & Safety responsibilities, the site rules, and bring to the attention to issues that could affect own, or others Health, Safety & Welfare,
- Lead the charge in digitalising our training systems and processes at the site.
- Deliver and excellent site induction and onboarding experience
- Collaborate with department leads to identify training needs and ensure compliance.

- Ideally experienced as a training administrator or officer, including managing training systems, presenting and administration of an LMS and document control
- Manufacturing experience would be advantageous along with the ability to review SOPS or CCPs
- Excellent level of IT skills (e.g., word/excel/PowerPoint/outlook)
- Ability to build strong working relationships external & internal colleagues.
- Proactive nature, willing to learn quickly and to take new challenges.
- Attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal and communication skill, Ideally proven experience in a training or development role, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
- Tech-savvy with a passion for digital learning transformation.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
