Full Job Description

The Anaesthesia Training Programme Director for Study Leave for the North West (Manchester) Rotation will support the Head of School/Associate Head of School in the Strategic Development of the School of Anaesthesia. The post holder will lead on the development of the School's Study Leave strategy and contribute to supporting the Head of School around assuring the quality of courses, which are available, and administering the Study Leave budget for Stages 1, 2 and 3. The post holder will be a member of the School Specialty Training Committee. This is a 3 year secondment with possibility to extend to a maximum of three years, subject to mutual agreement,

  • Work in collaboration with Head of School of Anaesthesia to administer the Study Leave budgets for all Stages of training.
  • To work with interested trainers in the development of local courses.
  • To ensure that all trainees receive the best value for money from their study leave budget., NHS England hold a Sponsor Licence; this means that we may be able to sponsor you providing the Home Office requirements are met. To be eligible for sponsorship through the Skilled Worker route you'll usually need to be paid the 'standard' salary rate of at least £38,700 per year, or the 'going rate' for your job, whichever is higher.
