As a flexible employer, we want to support you to work in a way that is best for the NHS, our patients and you. Talk to us about how we might be able to accommodate a flexible working arrangement whether that's a job share, part time, hybrid working or another flexible pattern. In addition, although the role advertised may have a 'home' office base indicated, we remain committed to supporting flexibility around workplace locations. If it works for the service, we will do our best to make it work for you., The successful applicant for this post will support the Head of School of Medicine in the co-ordination and direction of Specialty training (Emergency Medicine) in NHS England across the East Midlands.

You will ensure that national standards, determined by Royal Colleges, the GMC and NHS-E WT&E are implemented locally. Applicants must be currently working within the East Midlands area at consultant level or equivalent including SAS doctors in the specialty school area. Experience within the specialty at consultant or SAS doctor level is essential as is considerable experience of working with learners or doctors in training in an educational context., The successful applicant will work closely with the Head of School of Emergency Medicine to produce doctors who will strive for the highest standards of patient-centred care and commit themselves to a lifetime of professional development.
As part of a national system, please note that a flat rate of £10,000 per PA, per year, (or pro rata as necessary) will be paid to a Trust for successful candidates appointed to TPD roles. This should be treated as a contribution towards the overall cost and is not a reflection of the individual's pay., Applicants from within the NHS will be offered on a secondment basis only, agreement should be obtained from their employer prior to submitting the application.
