Little Wandle Letters and Sounds Revised is the market leading phonics programme developed by schools, for schools. Having launched in September 2021 the scheme is already being used in over 5000 schools.

Are you an exceptional, passionate professional with a deep understanding of teaching early reading through systematic synthetic phonics programmes? Do you have significant experience of facilitating professional learning and development in education contexts? Do you want to use your qualified teacher status and line-management experience to play a key role in ensuring member schools access the very best in professional development and expert support?

Wandle Learning Partnership, who run Little Wandle Letters and Sounds Revised, are part of Wandle Learning Trust, an exciting and expanding Multi-Academy Trust based in South London. We are looking for an excellent leader to support the CPD and School Improvement Lead to develop and deliver an innovative online, face-to-face and blended training programme which supports every Little Wandle member school to successfully implement the programme. You will lead the development and growth of the Little Wandle Trainer Team, working collaboratively with the Little Wandle Leadership Team to ensure they have the knowledge and understanding to design and deliver a comprehensive training programme for member schools, English Hubs, Local Authority Leaders and Multi Academy Trusts. You will oversee the deployment of the Trainer Team, aligning their efforts with the strategic development plan and ensuring that the training offered positively impacts on outcomes for children and young people.

You will be supported by a wonderful Admin Team and will be part of the Little Wandle Leadership Team - a dedicated, hardworking team, passionate about the Little Wandle Programme and changing lives by creating readers in our schools.

You must be prepared to travel to member schools across the country.
