As a leading vertically integrated retailer, we are embarking on a multi-year transformation program focused on delivering sustainable cost reductions and operational excellence across our organization. I'm looking for a dynamic Transformation Project Manager with a proven track record in lean methodologies and process efficiency improvements within a vertically integrated business. In this role, you will manage and deliver complex projects that span one or multiple lines of business, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and the successful execution of our transformation program. Based at Junction 41 in Wakefield, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in our team. We offer hybrid way of working, with a requirement to work in the office for a minimum of 2 days per week, with the expectation of additional attendance when needed.Role Responsibility

  • Develop and manage all aspects of project and program engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks and issues
  • Extensive understanding of project and program management principles, methods and techniques and participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization
  • Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership
  • Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs
  • Demonstrate a functional acumen to support how solutions will address business goals while maintaining alignment with industry best practices
  • Participate and/or drive feasibility studies, vendor selections and proposals for evaluation by appropriate key stakeholders
  • Assist in dispute, negotiation, arbitration or litigation, as needed
  • Define the Statement of Work and Specifications for the requested goods and services
  • Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables
  • Define success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project and program life cycle
  • Continue professional development in order to keep abreast of emerging technologies, methods and best practices
  • Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
  • The Ideal Candidate
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations to various audiences, including project team, sponsors, CIO, Exec, SLT, PLC and key stakeholders
  • Identify and develop trusted adviser relationship with project and program stakeholders, sponsors and external suppliers/ stakeholders
  • Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project and program/project team
  • Interactions very closely with the Commercial teams including Marketing, IT, Suppliers, Finance, Legal, Retail, Property and ongoing management of internal team members to ensure delivery is on time and to budget
  • Working with stakeholders and Senior Leadership teams
  • Set and continually manage project and program expectations while delegating and managing deliverable with team members and stakeholders
