We are opening 10 Transitional Care Cots on the post-natal ward for infants who meet the BAPM criteria for Transitional Care. We have an 8 bedded Special Care Unit (Level 1) at QHB, which will be moving to a new purpose built unit, that will increase capacity to incorporate 4 Transitional Care cots.
