Full Job Description

The TX Resourcing Team plays an important role at DAZN. Supporting the TX Team Leaders (who oversee the live delivery and manage the Transmission Live Directors), it manages the Transmission Department rota which consists of both staff and freelancers. Core responsibilities include : Assign Live Directors to live sport broadcast events, and their operational seating positions (TX Pods). Confirming operational availability of staff plus : Book Freelancers when needed. Assign Overtime when needed. Manages TX Operational staff annual leave balances. Working closely of the TL group, the Transmission Resourcing Team knows the capability of each operator, and the running complexity of each event. With this knowledge, the coordinators allocate both operational and technical position resource to each live event DAZN shows on its platform (both OTT and Linear), using Media Genix What's On and SchedulAll. As our Central Planner, you'll have the opportunity to

  • Assisting with the allocation of staff and freelance Transmission resources in line with business and operational needs
  • Responsible for daily resourcing checks against various systems and ensuring that the resourcing information is accurate
  • Working ahead and highlighting potential future resourcing issues - working with team to fix in good time
  • Assigning tests
  • Ad-hoc duties to be directed by Senior Coordinators and / or Team Leader

    The ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure in a broadcast Live environment
  • A good understanding of 24 / 7 shift patterns
  • Enthusiasm for planning
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team, as well as take individual responsibility and make decisions
  • An understanding of the end-to-end broadcast process
  • An interest in Sport
  • Experience using Media Genix WON and Scheduall a bonus
