Full Job Description

Reporting directly to the Transport Manager this role is responsible for ensuring customer requirements are met and company policies and procedures are followed. Supporting the Transport Manager in developing the site and company procedures and ensuring customer service levels remain high and site teams are managed effectively. Responsible for the day-to-day administration of the transport team ensuring they are managed in line with company policies and procedures.

  • Raising purchase orders as required.
  • Ordering goods from suppliers.
  • Booking vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Update wage books and answer any queries.
  • Producing daily reports on equipment failures, VOR's, ongoing issues and service levels
  • Undertake regular vehicle licence checks to ensure competent people drive LGV vehicles.
  • To keep accurate records of any tachograph infringements and driving license checks.
  • To carry out general office duties.
