Full Job Description
- Respond to enquiries related to retail bookings, quotes, pallet count requests, customer service issues, carrier communications and escalations, locate and verify PODs for dedicated Pallex carriers.
- Plan Pallex deliveries, quotes for retail planning and Relay/Arrow schedules; address finance reports on missing transport costs; execute Tus for next day collections and coordinate internal PGIs, including Vendorflex and month end stock clearance.
- Book transport vehicles ensuring appropriate sizing for pallet counts; manage fixed slot carrier references, collection times and booking confirmations, consolidate daily dedicated shipments and communicate schedules to Operations.
- Maintain logs for failed deliveries, flagging core issues for next-day orders and providing necessary details for carrier invoicing; address deliveries requiring additional transport or charges.
- Oversee Pallex consolidation processes and manage communications on dedicated consolidations, ensuring seamless coordination for outgoing shipments on fixed vehicles.
