Full Job Description

We have an exiting opportunity for a Transport Assistant to join our established team at our HQ in Seaham, County Durham. What will I be doing? Reporting to the Transport Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Perform general administrative tasks to support daily operations.
  • Answer and manage incoming calls professionally.
  • Utilise IT for documentation and communication.
  • Conduct data entry and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with office organisation and filing systems.
  • Collaborate with team members of administrative projects.
  • Handle clerical duties such as typing and photocopying.
  • Familiarity with computerised systems for efficient workflow.

    The successful candidate will join a supportive team within the Export Department and training will be provided.
  • Previous experience in administration role would be beneficial
  • Minimum Level 3 in Math's and English, relevant experience may be considered as alternative.
  • Excellent communication skills and telephone manner.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
  • Organised and detail orientated.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and manage own workload.
  • Team player.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, in particular word and excel.
