Transport Controller / FLM

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Transport Supervisor / FLM to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements. To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain supervisory practices and a demonstrative understanding of warehouse procedures, including storing goods, dispatching orders and tracking transportation vehicles. WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

• Managing driver paperwork and post-journey debriefing
• Managing the defecting process for vehicles requiring maintenance
• Driver performance management
• Communicating effectively with various parts of the business, including with the customer
• Managing the trailer pool for the site
• Managing driver hours and schedules

• Management experience - Essential
• Good IT Skills - Excel, Teams, Microlise,
• Transport experience - Essential
• Good communication skills - both verbal and written
