Transport Delivery Manager

The successful candidate will work within the Transport Team to support the successful development and delivery of the Transport Programme, working closely with the Tees Valley partner local authorities and other local delivery partners / businesses.

We are looking for someone with a strong desire to succeed who is able to work collaboratively to focus on achieving the required outcomes. Your excellent communication and influencing skills will enable you to engage with different audiences and build relationships across a wide variety of stakeholders. You will have experience of developing and delivering projects, preferably within a political environment, and be able to use those skills to support our programme of work.

The Tees Valley Combined Authority is looking for a programme manager to join the Transport & Infrastructure Team to support the delivery of the Strategic Transport Plan and Transport Programme. We have an unprecedented level of transport investment in the Tees Valley with the current £310m City Region Sustainable Transport Settlement (CRSTS1) and recently announced CRSTS2 settlement of £978m. We have an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to our communities in Tees Valley by improving our transport system and making it easier for people to access opportunities.
