Transport Manager

Here at Nustone, we are looking for a Transport Manager to join us at our Head Office in Kettering to take full responsibility in organising and controlling the daily transport operation providing a timely and cost-effective delivery service.

Daily tasks (not limited too)

• Day-to-day, you will deal with all driver-related issues ensuring that all transport legislation is always adhered to


• Hold responsibility for compliance with company and statutory requirements regarding Operator License, H&S, service quality, drivers' hours, and tacho regulations, inclusive of the working time directive


• Comply with all relevant transport legislation covering the fleet, ensuring all vehicles are maintained in line with legal requirements and 'O' License requirements


• Be responsible for transport department resources, induction, assessment, and training, including agency staff.
  
  Are you an experienced Transport Manager? Are you currently working in a transport environment and looking for a new challenge or are you looking for the next step in your career and want to become a transport manager?, Excellent transport knowledge including route planning, knowledge of driver hour rules and vehicle/transport legislation


• Experience of working in a fast-moving environment


• Excellent people management, coaching and influencing skills


• Holder of Managers CPC is essential
