Full Job Description

As Transport Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily transport operations, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of our pupils and staff. From managing the College's fleet to coordinating schedules, vehicle maintenance, and regulatory compliance, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our school community.,

  • Coordinating daily school bus routes, trips, and extracurricular transport schedules
  • Supervising and managing drivers and transport staff
  • Overseeing vehicle maintenance and safety checks
  • Ensuring compliance with all transport regulations and school safeguarding policies
  • Acting as the point of contact for parents, addressing transport-related inquiries and concerns

    Previous experience of managing staff
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A practical problem solver
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain high standards of safety and service

    37.5 hours per week, all-year-round from Monday to Friday. There is also a requirement to work on call to support out-of-hours.
  • Salary: £32,000 per annum Other benefits available include:
