Full Job Description

Transport Services has an excellent reputation for providing the transportation requirements of school children with special needs, older people and adults with disabilities., To ensure that the team meets it's statutory duty in providing home to school transport for eligible students:-

  • You will provide support to the wider Operations Team, inputting, updating an maintaining manual and computerised systems, files and records.
  • You will provide reception cover, assisting colleagues with their enquiries.
  • You will provide front line phone/email communications with parents, schools and other services.
  • You may also need to provide cover as a passenger attendant, travelling with SEND students (taxi or specialist vehicle).

    We are seeking an individual who has IT and communications skills. The successful applicant will need to be able to work under pressure and also work flexibly. Previous knowledge and/or experience of transporting passengers with special educational needs is preferred, but not essential.
