Transport Planner

Monday to Friday - Full time, permanent - Overseeing the daily route planning of general haulage work, throughout the UK. We run up to 20 vehicles at any given time. - Liaising with existing customers and third parties to arrange deliveries and collections, making sure all our goods are delivered in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring high expectations are constantly met. - Monitoring workload via internal systems to ensure vehicles are assigned to general freight and work prioritised. - Planning loads and routes that are commercially beneficial to the company, searching internal platforms looking for jobs to keep all vehicles moving. - Carry out driver debriefs and training, ensuring that our transport operation is running both safely and cost-effectively. - Managing drivers and monitoring their performance. - Escalate details of vehicle accidents, defects or any fleet issues to senior management. - Act as holiday cover within the office for another position, so you will
have an opportunity to learn various parts of the office functions and develop your skill set.

Experience within pallet distribution and/or general haulage planning. - HGV Class 1 Licence (beneficial) - FLT licence (beneficial)
