Transport Planner

We're currently recruiting for a Transport Planner to be based at our site in Wellingborough on our contract with Homebase. As part of this busy transport operation, covering Mon to Fri, 6am to 3pm,

• Create the daily transport plan and allocating work against carrier as per the plan
• Planning all stock and material movements between sites and overseeing backhaul shipments
• Ensure all process and procedures are followed and that we operate a safe and efficient environment
• Provide end of shift handover and tracking information to customers
• Attend daily planning calls
  
  It's important you have exposure of working in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience within transport and a good understanding of compliance and driver hours would be beneficial

• Strong Excel Knowledge
