Full Job Description
As Transport Planning Technician within the HDM team, your responsibilities would include (but not be limited to):
- Maintaining and updating the HDM electronic system (currently MasterGov) for recording, providing and monitoring consultation responses.
- Providing a superuser role for MasterGov including developing appropriate training manuals, providing appropriate training, representing the team on the corporate working group, liaising with the system provider to maintain and develop the system and managing access rights to the system.
- Monitoring and managing consultations and correspondence arriving through the HDM generic inbox.
- Providing administrative support in the provision of the HDM system including processing invoices as appropriate and to provide reports giving management and performance data.
- Monitoring and reviewing consultations on planning applications and pre-application enquiries and ensuring appropriate information is input onto electronic systems to record and monitor progress., We are keen to support employees to balance their working life with other commitments. GCSE English Language and Mathematics Grades A - C or equivalent, or relevant demonstrable experience. - Use of MS Office programmes and use of GIS (geographical information systems) mapping software.
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate recording of information.
- Ability to work to tight timescales, agreed timescales and be able to manage your own workload.
- Ability to search and interrogate systems in order to extract relevant information and produce reports.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to negotiate, shape and influence to achieve successful outcomes and to continue to build on the credibility of the Council and its services.
