Full Job Description
To manage and lead the transport team to prepare and deliver transport strategies and provide strategic transport input to wider Council policies and strategies.
To provide strategic and operational leadership, to ensure an effective and sustainable network of local bus and passenger services across Rutland are provided., Rutland County Council is committed to Equality and Diversity and welcomes applications from all sections of the community. Your experience of planning and delivering high quality school, SEND and local bus transport services will lead Rutland into a new era of Demand Responsive Transport and streamlined school transport.
You will be a highly experienced transport operations professional with substantial leadership and managerial experience at a senior level. You will have considerable experience of leading, managing, developing and motivating your teams to achieve organisational goals.
