Transport Team Leader

In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring our transport operations run smoothly and efficiently, maximizing load capacity while maintaining our profit margins. • Performing clerical tasks to manage transport activities.
• Processing, preparing, and verifying transport documents.
• Handling discrepancies and overages to ensure smooth operations.
• Planning routes for the CODI fleet.
• Attending driver Pre-Communication Meetings (PCM) when necessary.
• Carrying out Driver on Road Supervision (DORS) to monitor performance.
• Managing delays and average stop times effectively.
• Scheduling and organizing drivers and vehicles to optimize efficiency and maximize load capacity.
• Addressing any miscellaneous issues that arise during operations.

• Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
• Experience in a similar role (highly valued)
• The capability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills to manage unforeseen issues
